More than 1,500 joint replacements are performed each year at the Orthopedic Clinic under the direction of Dr. Krieger. As a result, the team has extensive experience in knee and hip replacement surgery. In addition to Dr. Manfred Krieger, the surgical team includes senior physicians Dr. Simon Schröder, Dr. Christoph Hausner, Ingmar Bothe, and Suren Karapetyan. The high quality of care and comprehensive patient support are the result of the team’s professional expertise, many years of experience, and dedicated collaboration. Together, the physicians strive to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life as quickly as possible following joint replacement surgery.
An important component of the treatment is the established Fast Track method. The concept relies on close collaboration among all involved professionals and on mobilizing patients as early as possible after joint replacement. “For me, successful treatment means more than just a medically sound surgery. We want to enable our patients to get back on their feet as quickly as possible and return to their daily lives,” says Dr. Manfred Krieger.
The *stern* study is conducted in collaboration with the renowned research institute MINQ. It is based on a multidimensional selection process that takes into account, among other factors, qualified recommendations, certifications, authorization to provide continuing education, scientific publications, and medical reputation.
